European NATO countries cannot ignore that AI speeds up military targeting by 100x. It would be naive to assume NATO adversaries are not prepared to deploy these rapidly evolving capabilities against the West to the fullest extent. Therefore, Europe needs to invest in mechanisms to deploy these capabilities in ways that are aligned with the values of our resilient democracies, and move on from the current 'head in the sand' mindset.
